The Toddler Sense, Camp Hill

Funnily enough, I didn’t plan to write a blog about my experience at Toddler Sense, but after such a fantastic time, I felt it was something “the people needed to know!” Toddler Sense is a service that offers unique sensory experiences for babies and toddlers. I tried the Camp Hill facility, and I was genuinely pleased with the setup. The venue features two separate rooms—one for babies and one for toddlers—along with pram parking in between, comfortable bathrooms, and easy parking.

What stood out to me was the flexibility they offer; if you can't attend, you can send a friend in your place, which is brilliant for those times when you aren’t able to attend a make-up session. My son typically gets distracted and asks for food during these activities, but he was completely engaged for the full hour! I’ve often found that half-hour classes can feel too short, particularly if you arrive 5-10 minutes behind, so we appreciated the longer duration. The first 20 minutes were dedicated to free play, and the bubbly facilitator mentioned that they have over 200 different activities, so it’s never the same experience twice.

Having attended other sensory classes, I found this one to be particularly creative, and I’m already looking forward to returning to see what new fun activities they have in store next. I’ve since signed up for a term, believing it will be a wonderful opportunity to engage my toddler while also being able to care for my newborn in the future. It feels like the perfect place to help us find balance as a family! You can try a paid trial session before committing to a term, so I highly recommend giving it a go. We loved it!
