Area 51, Underwood

After exploring nearly every indoor play centre Brisbane has to offer, I can confidently say that Area 51 ranks in my top three favourites. This expansive venue has won awards for its outstanding facilities and entertaining features. It’s a brightly lit, modern centre equipped with high-quality playground equipment that still looks and feels brand new.

One of the standout features is its impressive food court—yes, you read that right, an entire food court! Unlike other indoor play centres that only have a single café, Area 51 offers something for everyone. While my photos primarily focus on toddler-friendly areas, there are segmented zones that cater to kids of all ages. I’d love to return one day with my nieces and nephews from interstate because no matter how old your kids are, they’re bound to have a blast.
