I’m a full-time parent with no family nearby to help out, so whenever I hear about a facility that offers some child-free time, my curiosity sparks! TFP Spa in Newstead has truly set the benchmark for kids’ creches in Brisbane. Initially, I thought you had to be a member to access the kids' club, but it turns out non-members can use it when they book an onsite spa treatment. For context, 90-minute treatments start around $180, plus a $7.50 fee for the creche and parking.

Before committing to a spa session, I decided to check out the creche to ensure my little one would be comfortable. I was impressed by what I saw online, but in person, it was even better! The creche is divided into two zones: one for under 2s and another for over 2s. The older kids can enjoy an epic indoor playground, while the younger ones have a cozy area filled with stimulating toys. The staff were incredibly welcoming. My son, who is usually a bit hesitant about kids' clubs, felt right at home here—it was like stepping into an indoor play centre! Plus, parking in the building is a treat, complete with a world-class car wash!
