BOUNCE, Tingalpa

I always thought BOUNCE in Tingalpa was strictly for kids over five, while MiniBounce in Carindale was the go-to spot for under-fives. But after a recent chat with a friend, I discovered there’s a Mini Zone within BOUNCE, perfect for younger kids. Naturally, I had to check it out!

We set off with excitement, and from a logistical perspective, getting to BOUNCE Tingalpa was a breeze. Parking was far easier compared to the Carindale location, which was a pleasant surprise. Initially, I couldn’t spot a lift, but don’t worry, mums with prams—there’s a lift on the right that takes you straight to reception. Crisis averted!

Our visit was during the week, and I was delighted to see the place buzzing with energy. Surprisingly, it was dominated by kids under five, which gave the whole centre a playful, vibe. Because it was a weekday, the space wasn’t overcrowded, and there was plenty of room for kids to explore. Even better, they could venture into some of the older kids' zones without feeling overwhelmed.

The Mini Zone at BOUNCE Tingalpa felt more contained than the one at MiniBounce in Carindale, and I found that to be a big plus. It meant I didn’t have to chase my son around constantly—he had enough room to explore but was always within sight. One highlight was the ball suction wall in the Mini Zone. My son was captivated by it from the moment he saw it. This feature is a unique feature that sets BOUNCE Tingalpa apart from Carindale, and for a kid who loves anything ball-related, it was the icing on the cake.

If you’re looking for a low-key, indoor outing with your little one under five, BOUNCE Tingalpa is worth a visit. Plus, there are plenty of other BOUNCE locations around town—just check their website to find the one nearest to you.
