Lil Party Rockers, Hawthorne

It’s such a joy to see toddlers start to dance and move to music, and when my son began to groove, I knew I had to check out Little Party Rockers, which I discovered on Instagram. The dance classes are held in various locations, and we tried the Hawthorne and Morningside venues. My favourite was Hawthorne, thanks to the nearby coffee shops and the bright, airy room with plenty of windows. It had such a positive vibe! In contrast, the Morningside studio (featured in my last image) had a dimmer, more traditional disco feel.

At Hawthorne, Caren was the dance coach, and I was impressed by how engaging she was with the kids. Our favourite part in both sessions was when the neon flashing toys came out; the energy in the room instantly skyrocketed! Caren even asked the kids for song requests, which was a sweet touch. After our fun at Little Party Rockers, we were excited to discover that My First Gym was just a one-minute drive away, so we decided to pop in for the remainder of the morning. It turned out to be a fantastic, and partly spontaneous morning!
