Moora Park, Shorncliffe

Moora Park in Shorncliffe is a fantastic spot! I first learned about it when my husband suggested we head to Shorncliffe for breakfast. After a delicious meal at The Witchin’ Kitchen, we popped in the car drove down to the park and enjoyed a leisurely morning. You can park at the top of the cliff, or if you’re lucky, you might find a space on the lower level, right next to the park. Across from the water, you’ll find a wonderful park featuring a variety of playgrounds and slides that cater to all ages, plus a fun sandpit area.
After the kids have had their fun on the playground, you can stroll down the boardwalk, wander along Lovers Lane, relax on the sand by the water—or even take a swim! The atmosphere here is incredibly calming, making it a great place to unwind. On weekends, you’ll often find parties and gatherings happening, adding to the vibrant vibe. There isn’t much more to say about this lovely spot; the photos will speak for themselves. Just be sure to pack plenty of snacks and water to keep everyone refreshed, because once you settle in, you won’t want to leave this delightful area!
