I came across the Hendra Healthworks when I was speaking to a pregnant friend who was discussing her plans to “join a gym with a kids' creche.” Anytime I hear the words "kids' creche," my ears prick up, and I need to know more! I’m glad I probed further because, as it turns out, the beautiful gym has all the features that make you momentarily feel like you have your “pre-baby” life back—LOL. The entrance from the street feels like you’re entering a prestigious estate. The club boasts a gym, coffee, tennis courts, a pool, and a steam room/sauna for adults, as well as an onsite kids' club. You can visit the club on a casual basis, so a friend and I thought we would give it a try! We dropped our kids at the kids' club and then went straight to the pool, where I ordered a raw bite to eat, and my friend had coffee. We spent our entire time at the pool and didn’t want to leave! Typically, you would be required to be a club member to use the kids' club facilities, so I believe this is a real point of difference.

I noticed that the staff were SUPER friendly and made you feel welcome, which was nice. There was plenty of parking available on-site, but it’s a very popular gym, so depending on the time of day, expect to park on the street and walk a bit to get there. I loved it, and I have no doubt you would appreciate the experience too. I look forward to returning soon!
