Chermside Aquatic Centre, Chermside

I was very excited to visit the Chermside Aquatic Centre when I saw photos online. I was curious to see what was available for younger children, as it was clear that Chermside was one of the leading options in Brisbane when it came to super slides for older kids. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find the toddler’s splash area, which featured a unique concrete slide and 2-3 cute little ad-hoc islands for my son to stop and splash at.

Overall, I felt the kids' pool had lagoon vibes, which I appreciated! The onsite canteen looked reliable and substantial, but it was low on stock during our initial visit, possibly due to it being a weekday. I will return when my little one gets older, and I would happily recommend this aquatic centre to family and friends visiting from interstate. In the meantime, I might stick to Southbank for lagoon vibes because it’s closer to home.
